So, I have to confess that my reasoning for the blog was that I was going to build a travel van and travel around the country. That didn’t work out. I was going to go to Hawaii and live that adventure. I’m still working on that. So where has my journey led me to? That’s a good question. Right now, it’s sitting in front of my laptop on a snowy day back in Idaho thinking about fixing breakfast. Now that may sound like it’s trivial but it’s all perspective.
The journey of life is JUST DOING. Being aware of the journey is the battle. If one is just going through life like a walking dead thinking this is all this or or not thinking anything at all then what is the point? Am I just doing that? I don’t think so. I’m working towards returning to Hawaii, I’m blessing an amazing person in my life as I do that as well. I’m blogging, I’m selling my book, not the best I can but I’m doing it, which means I’m not just ho-hum, ho-hum, ho hum life is so fun. It’s hard to be persistent, it’s hard to be aware, it’s hard to fight gravity that want to hold you in bondage.
It reminds me of the Matrix and that we’re all just a battery for the machine until we are “awakened” to the truth. The truth is – that our lives are in all actuality very, very short and we take them for granted. Few people live their passions, few people live their dreams. They get married, have children, buy a house, have bills – ” because that’s what we’re supposed to do”? Hog Wash!!!!!! We’re supposed to LIVE and be alive and that my friend is a mindset. So, I’m off to fix eggs because this machine needs fuel to adventure today. See ya out there.
