Perspective

Today is a day of perspective. What I’m trying to say is, that we all have the ability to look and react to our daily situations with choices. It may not seem like it or you may not even be aware, but they are still there none the less. We can make all sorts of excuses that we don’t have the money, we don’t have time, we don’t have the education, we don’t, we don’t, we don’t. Baaaa Humbug!!! I ask why are we limiting ourselves so very much? Every day I shake my head at so many people around me who are miserable but don’t do anything to change it. I see people who don’t even realize their miserable and actually take it out on others around them and don’t even know it.

There was a study done with hooking electrodes to people’s brains and flashing pictures in front of them to see what brain activity was sparked by the pictures. There were two pictures that had the most influence both negative and positive as a whole through the test subjects. The negative was a picture of Hitler and the positive was a picture of the Dali Lama. Now please understand that I am not preaching anything here, this was just one independent study, and I am only using this as an example. The brains electrical pulses are an extension of one’s subconscious in my opinion. We learn and are trained through-out our lives in so many ways but there is still a part of us that lies beneath the surface that has an impact that we may not even realize. Dreaming is an example of that. So, what’s my point?

My point is, is that we always have a choice and becoming aware of those choices lies deeper than the surface. Perspective can have many different angles, colors and paths. I encourage you to see the box like a prism. This takes practice and sadly I don’t think some people want to see anything different. If the pictures can be both positive and negative isn’t that a choice right there? Then to be aware enough to ask why do we view those pictures the way we do. Perspective is just another tool to help one become less in bondage and freer to experience the journey the universe truly has for them. Take a step, see where it takes you.
