Tomorrow

We are born just to die. Sounds sad but in reality, that’s what life is. Now what you do with this life is entirely up to you. We start off depending on our parents to take care of us. They feed us, protect us, and teach us as our brains continue to grow. We have no real understanding for the world, we just exist in the moment. We grow and learn what is in our surroundings. Most of us live a carefree childhood and then grow into young adults. We live happy go lucky lives and don’t ever think about our tomorrow. We think that life lasts forever. Then in an instant time goes by and we’re old and there are only a few tomorrows left.

If I could impart any wisdom to the younger generation and to anybody really, it would be a couple things. One, live every moment, enjoy all that you can each and every day. And two, don’t waste time thinking you have a tomorrow because maybe you don’t. If you knew that you only had a select few tomorrows I can guarantee you would live life very differently. Life would be so incredibly valuable and precious. So why do we live like we have an unlimited supply of tomorrows? I believe it’s because our ego gets in the way of understanding that we are here for only a limited time and we all will eventually run out of tomorrows.

When does tomorrow come? Think about it. Tomorrow never comes because it’s always tomorrow and tomorrow is never today. Tomorrow is a word and world of the future. One that doesn’t exist, one that is like the dangly carrot out in front of the horse to keep it pulling the cart. But if you never reach the carrot, I believe you eventually give up trying and life just becomes a mundane grind of going through the motions. Then you grow old and die. Ugh. People, please don’t think about tomorrow except for what today’s action is going to create so that we don’t have to wait for tomorrow because it’s already right now. Understand?

There is so much to live for in this day. Please don’t put off living and exploring and experiencing in this very day what the journey is. Why seemingly wait for tomorrow when you can right now. Don’t tell me you can’t. I know it’s hard, I know it seems impossible. But what’s really impossible is to live forever. Don’t waste a tomorrow and another tomorrow when your fully capable of creating your dreams and passions in this exact moment. Get out of your head of this reason or that and get into I can, I did, I do and I am. Tomorrow can be a beautiful guide to getting you on in today. Let’s go explore what is really going on out there.
