Locked In

Welcome to life. I’m not trying to be a sad sack here; I’m just saying it how it is. What I have come to understand is that no matter where you are in life you are locked in. It doesn’t matter where you are born, where you live, how much money you make, you are locked in. You are locked into the whole system. 1st is your family and environment. You grow up most likely believing and living out what you are brought up being taught and with the mentality of the topography you live in. You live in Russia, then it’s a select way of living, very different from living in L.A. which is also different from New York which is different from Greece. Understand what I’m getting at? You are locked into a social setting from the very get go.

2nd part of being locked in is once you are an adult, almost every single adult has to work. You are locked into a mentality that you have to work for a living and for most of us that means we are locked into a financial grid lock. You make, you spend, you pay bills, and nothing changes, it’s a lifestyle of drudgery. Yeah, you may take your trips every year and buy the big house, nice car but truly you are locked into whatever income you make. The more you make the more you spend. We all know this is true. Then because of that making money and spending now you come to number 3. Number 3 is that you are locked into bills. More like you are in bondage with thick heavy chains around your feet, hands and neck. You have credit card bills, you have medical bills, don’t get me started on insurance ugh, you have children’s costs, you have car payments, house payments, payments, payments, payments.

Some people have financial freedom but I’m betting on the side that most don’t. Most people live locked into a way of life from family to environment to monetary means. Locked, drowning up to their necks and paddling water to stay afloat. Don’t believe me? Look around. It’s everywhere. There is no life preserver. The “governments” don’t want to help you, they make it worse because it behooves them that you are controlled. People don’t want to help you because it takes away from their own lifestyle of drowning. Who will throw a life preserver when it’s what they think is keeping them afloat. Nope it’s a vicious cycle and we are all, you and I, and everyone else locked in. Locked into a life that is killing us. Tell you what, I’m going to bring my life preserver to you and let’s put them together and make a raft and maybe, just maybe we can help each other create something better so we can survive this thing called life.
