The world goes round and round as it has for millions of years. Nature does what nature does. Homo sapiens on the other hand are big-brained idiots hurtling through space thinking they are the center of the universe. Why do I say this? I recently have been diving into online political and religious conversations. Yep, big no no right there. But I feel what I have to share actually has content and base to it. I don’t spew out conspiracy theories trying to get people to follow me or believe in my way of thinking. I try and give true honest thought guided by an open-minded way of thinking. Sharing this though has been a difficult and eye-opening journey. It seems people prefer to hear and believe in conspiracy before they believe in truth or fact. I’ll even go so far as to say, they won’t even entertain an idea or concept no matter the content because it does not go along with the creation of their own thinking.
I’m not saying people should all be robots and think the same. Quite the opposite. I’m saying we should all be open to possibilities; to learn, to gain knowledge, to gain wisdom and sometimes that kind of thinking is outside the box. But being outside the box doesn’t mean you believe in outlandish things. And yet I also believe that some conspiracy theories can become fact in the right circumstances. So, it’s up to the individual to do their due diligence and not just follow blindly just because every Tom, Joe and Mary do so, or because that’s just the way it’s always been. We have big brains for a reason, and it is a huge separation from the rest of the animal kingdom. We are the dominant species on this planet and yet sometimes I think we are incredibly dumb.
In most cases, humans don’t like to be alone, and we tend to pool with like-minded people. That can be a big problem. It almost seems to create a Borg mentality if you will, for those that know Star Trek terminology. Depending on where a person lives on this planet, what religion is in that area, and many cultural and societal beliefs, then the people will generally follow all the same understanding in that particular region. It takes a courageous mind to step out and offer a different way of thinking and believing. This issue I have is when that different way of thinking takes on such an outlandish notion that it just stirs up chaos. The definition of conspiracy theory is an explanation for an event or situation that asserts the existence of a conspiracy by powerful and sinister groups, often political in motivation, when other explanations are more probable. And people jump on that bandwagon ALL the time. Why?
I feel because they are not settled in their souls. I’m not trying to pass any judgement, but I don’t see the need to stir up anyone due to a belief system that is largely based on fabrication and emotion. I have always sought ways to share information so that people can be informed. That they can be aware of life and anything else around them because they have a higher level of knowledge and wisdom. We don’t need to believe blindly; we don’t need to believe just because our parents do, or the community does. What we need to know is who we are, what our purpose is and how can we give to ourselves and all those around us in harmony, enrichment and true life. This is the soul journey. We are on this planet for such a short time. Why waste that time in conspiracy theories that just rile people up, when we instead could use our time for such magnificent passions and blessings. It’s your choice but I ask just this. How are you going to spend this precious and valuable time on your journey?
