Born to ?

I am positive that this is a question that humans have asked for thousands upon thousands of years. We have looked to the sky with reverence, awe, and bewilderment. We have always asked, “why was I born, what is it that I’m born to do”. I heard a very wise scientists talk about the mathematical odds of YOU being born. It’s almost uncomprehensible. Everything that has to happen from your conception all the way back through the past of your ancestors in order for you to be born. Every little detail, every decision, every incident, billions of them through hundreds and thousands of years and yet here you and I are. In the same mindset, a few of the big thinkers of our time, Carl Sagen, Hawking, believe that the mathematical possibilities of the Universe existing that can create and maintain life is equivalent to all the pieces and parts of a jumbo 747 being in a pile and scooped up and just dumped out to make a plane. They talked about ID or intelligent design. But yet neither of them believed in God as commonly worshiped. But all that is for another rabbit hole. I’m wanting to talk about you, in all your originality, uniqueness and yet similarities to all other humans. Again, the odds of you being born are beyond measure. So why were you born, what is your purpose. Do you have an idea, a thought, a process of?

My brother owns a restaurant, and he said he is in the business of making poop. Think about it. That’s the cycle right. We eat, we drink, we discard. In a rudimentary way that’s the gist of it. So, is there more purpose for us than just to consume and then discard the waste? I would like to think so. But it’s extremely difficult to wade through two major roadblocks of society. One is that people don’t even take one second to think about it. They just go through the motions, a walking dead, moving through the years of life but accomplishing nothing for their own self-awareness. Maybe they are just part of the cog for the next entity to be born and to question their existence, I don’t know. But it seems that we ALL have a choice in this matter. I just see that many don’t make that choice of connection and just consume and poop. Now on the other side of being a walking dead is a person that has such an ego that they become the center of the universe in their own eyes. Yes, we are all made up of the elements of the universe, we are all star children but not all of us have an extreme ego that causes one to exalt themselves above everyone and everything around them. This is also a problem of existence.

For true understanding of born into what and why, I believe involves a large dose of humility. To value the great odds of your existence, to honor your current today living being and to dream, plant, water and forge ahead for a greater purpose of what you are truly born for. This takes a deeper understanding, awareness, humility, imagination, fascination, exploration of one’s own person than just eating and pooping. We are a biological being and we must do what nature has us to do but there is so much more to this journey than consume and waste. I implore you to meditate on the unlikelihood of your birth but yet here you are. So, now what is the point? What are you born for, what are you born to do? Seek it, find it, breathe it in as it is the very essence of your soul and then go forth and share this magnificent light of you to the world. You are here for a purpose; you are born for a reason or else you wouldn’t be here. Now is the time, now is all you have, the past is gone, and the future is not written. Through time and space, you have chosen to exist, a gift for the world and a seed for everything to come. Now that’s a journey to ride.
